Courtney started working at Maitland Mobile as a co-op student in September 2022. In April 2025, she got hired to work as a summer student assisting with farm calls. She has continued assisting part-time after returning to school. Courtney grew up, lives and works on her family farm near Walton, with Brown Swiss cows, sheep and chickens. Courtney is expected to graduate from the University of Guelph with a degree in Animal Science in 2027. She is an active member of 4-H and has shown a dairy calf every year she has been eligible. She enjoys spending time with animals, especially her calves and her dog, Benny.
